Ocean Isle Beach hosts their 43rd annual Oyster Festival this weekend

OCEAN ISLE BEACH, NC (WWAY) — The North Carolina Oyster Festival is happening this weekend in Ocean Isle Beach.

There will be oyster shucking contests, an oyster eating contest, and an oyster stew cook off.

The festival kicks off Friday night at 6pm with a concert with the event lasting until Sunday.

Tickets are 5 dollars for adults (cash only) and it is free for children under the age of 12.
