‘One Day Wonder’ traveling exhibit coming to NC Coast

CAPE FEAR, NC (WWAY) — The State Archives of North Carolina’s traveling exhibit “One Day Wonder” is coming to the North Carolina coast.

The exhibit will first stop at the Fort Johnston-Southport Museum and Visitors Center on Saturday.

From 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., you can view copies of the 1776 State Constitution and Declaration of Rights, the 1868 State Constitution, and a letter from John Adams known as “Thoughts on Government.”

The exhibit will then travel to Moores Creek National Park on February 24 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This will be held in conjunction with a naturalization ceremony.

People are encouraged to check out it out and learn more about the country as we near the 250th birthday.
