One man dead, another in hospital after homicide in Wilmington
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Wilmington Police Department is investigating a homicide.
Friday afternoon just after 3 p.m., Wilmington Police Department officers responded to an assist EMS call at an apartment in the 4200 block of Academy Cove.
When units arrived, they located one male victim who was pronounced dead at the scene.
A second victim was taken to Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
This is currently an ongoing homicide investigation.
