Suspect identified in Little River armed robbery, considered armed and dangerous

One man has been identified as a suspect in an armed robbery that occurred on Dec. 9, 2017 in Little River.

In a tweet issued by Horry County Police, Corey June Burke, 30, has been named as a suspect and is now wanted for Armed Robbery.

According to a report, Horry County Police responded to Fairway Drive in Little River for a call of burglary at around 8:20 p.m. that evening.

The victim stated that he was in the shower with two female suspects when one of them got out. When he exited the shower, he was struck in the head and knocked out.

He says the next thing he knew, he was tied to a chair in his own living room. He says two men had come into his home and were waving his own pistol in his face, according to the report.

The victim said he was able to free himself and flee to a neighbor’s house after the suspects left.

Officers cleared the home and have passed the crime scene off to investigators.

As of Monday evening, Burke is the only suspect who has been identified in this incident. He is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.
