ONLY ON 3 UPDATE: Leland store owner, manager charged with trademark violations

LELAND, NC (WWAY) — The owner and manager of a Leland business have been charged with felony use of a counterfeit trademark.

The Secretary of State’s office has been investigating Velocity on Village Road. That investigation led to owner Atalla Muhammad and manager Gurkin Gur being charged.

The charges could lead to the store being forced to close.
