Onslow County man wins $200,000 lottery prize

JACKSONVILLE, NC (WWAY) — An Onslow County bought a $5 scratch off and won $200,000.

James Forhan bought a Mega Fortune scratch-off ticket at the Circle K on Lejeune Boulevard in Jacksonville.

He claimed his prize Thursday at lottery headquarters in Raleigh. After taxes, he took home $139,003. He plans to use the money to pay bills.

Mega Fortune launched in December 2016 with five top prizes of $200,000.

Two top prizes remain.
