Organizations donate food, water to Hurricane Matthew victims

COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Despite that it has no coastline, Columbus County received some of the worst damage from Hurricane Matthew.

That’s why, even a year and a half years later, Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina teamed up with Catholic Charities’s Cape Fear branch to distribute food and water.

The organizations donate items to 63 households still rebuilding from the devastation.
