Parking lot public hearing postponed

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Folks worried about a parking lot going in on a residential property in their neighborhood are going to have to wait a little bit longer to get a resolution.

At tonight’s city council meeting Mayor Bill Saffo said the hospital had requested to postpone the public hearing until the October 4 meeting. New Hanover Regional Medical Center is looking to put about 60 parking spots on a lot on Glen Meade Rd.

Folks showed up in opposition to the lot wearing red, but left after the announcement was made.
