Part of Brunswick Riverwalk Park to be open in Oct.
BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Town of Belville has decided to build the Brunswick Riverwalk Park in three phases.
The first will be completed by October. It will consist of a 28 acre park complete with a fishing pier, an overwater observation deck, a waterfront boardwalk, and a walking trail.
This park is something the Town of Belville says they are very proud of.
“The Riverwalk Park, as we are building it, will be a center that people throughout the cape fear region will be able to use and enjoy and learn from,” said Joseph Breault, a Belville commissioner. “And that’s what we are trying to build.”
When all three phases are finished, the park will be more than 150 acres and have more than four miles of water front.
The final phase should be done sometime in 2018.
