Part of Market Street to close this week
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — On Thursday eastbound lanes of Market Street, between 19th & 20th streets, will be closed while City crews remove a laurel oak tree suffering from extensive storm damage and internal decay. A replacement tree will be planted next season.
It will be closed from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

For our crews’ safety, eastbound traffic will follow this detour: 17th St. → Princess Place Dr. → N. 23rd St.
