Part of Old Fayetteville Road closed due to icy condtions

LELAND, NC (WWAY) — Leland police closed Old Fayetteville Road between Basin Street and Skipper Street due to multiple motorists finding themselves in the ditch.

According to the Leland Police Department, Old Fayetteville Road is a DOT-maintained road, and they are working with them to coordinate signage. They warn that in the meantime, if you must be on the roads, you’ll need to find another alternate route.
