Pender County Schools announces 2025-26 graduation dates

PENDER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Pender County Schools released the 2025-26 graduation schedule.

Mid-year graduation ceremonies will take place on Monday, January 5th. The mid-year ceremonies recognize students who have completed their graduation requirements ahead of the spring semester.

• Topsail High School – 9:00 a.m.
• Heide Trask High School – 11:00 a.m.
• Pender High School – 1:00 p.m.
• Pender Innovative Learning Academy – 3:00 p.m. (at Cape Fear Middle School)

The spring graduation ceremonies will take place at the end of May.

• Pender Early College High School – May 21st at 5 p.m.
  • Location: CFCC’s Wilson Center
• Heide Trask High School – May 28th from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
  • Location: Trask Gymnasium
• Topsail High School – May 28th from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
  • Location: Topsail Football Field
• Pender High School – May 29th from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
  • Location: Pender High Gymnasium
• Pender Innovative Learning Academy – May 29th 1 p.m.
  • Location: Cape Fear Middle School

“Each of these ceremonies represents years of perseverance, growth, and support from our students, families, and staff. We look forward to honoring every graduate as they begin the next chapter of their lives,” Superintendent Dr. Brad Breedlove said.

More details will be released such as parking information and school-specific guidance by each campus as the ceremonies get closer.
