WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Lots of people making a toast to taking on the challenge of dry January.
With the new year comes New Year’s resolutions and for many, it may be limiting alcohol consumption.
In Wilmington, at ‘Mocksie,’ a business specializing in craft mocktail’s is offering year-round alcohol-free options.
Founder, Carter Jewell, said these fun drinks may be of interest to those participating in dry January, those expecting, and for people battling addiction.
She said whatever your situation is, she wants to be a resource to you.
“No judgment, we want to be here on your journey, whatever that looks like, and we’ve got a lot of nice options that can help you,” Jewell said.
This Saturday, January 6, ‘Mocksie’ will be holding a dry January takeover event at The Eagle’s Dare in downtown Wilmington. It will be from 4 to 6 p.m.
