Pet adoptions only $5 during Brunswick County shelter event

SUPPLY, NC (WWAY) — Animal Protective Services at the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office are hosting an “Animal Adoption Event” this weekend.

The event is happening on Saturday, August 16, from 10:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at 429 Green Swamp Rd. in Supply.

“Join us for a heartwarming day of wagging tails and purring pals,” a release from BCSO APS says. “Dozens of adorable dogs and cats will be waiting to meet you and find their forever homes. Whether you’re looking for a playful pup or a cuddly kitten, your perfect companion could be just a visit away.”

For this event, adoptions are only $5.
