Pet Pals: 2-year-old male ferret!

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Ferret lovers, this week’s Pet Pal is for you!

There is a 2-year-old male ferret at New Hanover County Animal Services looking for a home and a name.

He has soft white and tan fur, is up to date on his shots and he is even litter box trained!

Shelter staff says he needs an owner who has experience with ferrets. He could also live with another ferret; however, staff asks that the two animals meet before adoption.

County residents can adopt for just $70.

Adoption services are available between Noon and 4:45 p.m. Monday through Friday or Saturday from 8 a.m. to Noon.
