NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — If you’re looking for a lap cat, you may want to head over to New Hanover County Animal Services.

Meet Dolores. She is a 2-year-old domestic shorthair tortiseshell/patch tabby cat.

Shelter staff describes Dolores as a a cuddle bug. She loves human interaction and attention! Her affectionate personality makes her a perfect companion for anyone looking to add little extra love to their life.

Adoption services are available between noon and 4:45 p.m. Monday through Friday or Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon.

County residents can adopt for just $70.
