Peterson intends to stay at UNCW

WILMINGTON,NC (UNCW sports release) — UNCW men’s basketball coach Buzz Peterson on Monday denied published reports link him to another college position and is looking forward to his third season with the Seahawks in 2012-13.

“I’m enjoying UNCW tremendously and plan to be here for a long, long time,” said Peterson. “It’s always difficult this time of year when many positions open, but I want everyone to know that I’m not a candidate for any other job. Period.”
