Pipe replacement scheduled for road in Brunswick County next week

LELAND, NC (WWAY) — A section of Mount Misery Road in Brunswick County is scheduled to close for three weeks for a pipe replacement.

The N.C. Department of Transportation will close the bridge over Indian Creek on Mount Misery Road to upsize a pipe beginning Oct. 20. The road is expected to reopen Nov. 7.
