Plans under review for Wawa Convenience store

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A chain may soon be making its way to the Wilmington area. An application has been submitted for a new Wawa convenience store and gas station, and plans are currently under review.

The proposed location for the Wawa would be situated at the corner of Oleander Drive and Englewood Drive, near Jungle Rapids Family Fun Park.

According to the submitted site plans, the store would cover approximately 6,300 square feet and include eight fuel pumps.
