Police chase out of Carolina Beach ends in crash in Monkey Junction UPDATE

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Two people are in custody following a chase and crash in New Hanover County.
According to Carolina Beach police, it happened around 12:15 p.m. on Thursday.
Police confirm they were in pursuit of a vehicle.
The suspect crashed at the intersection of Carolina Beach Road and College Road in Monkey Junction.
Two people are currently being held in custody without bond: Treuquan Levar Tilghman, 20, of Castle Hayne; and Denesha Elane McKoy, 19, of Wilmington.
McKoy is charged with Possession of Stolen Motor Vehicle.
Tilghman faces the following charges:
Fleeing to Elude with Motor Vehicle
Possession of Stolen Motor Vehicle
Felony Hit and Run Causing Injury (2 counts)
Reckless Driving to Endanger
Speeding
Driving While License Revoked
Failure to Stop-Steady Red Light
Unlawful Use of Highways
Improper Passing on the Right
Resist, Delay, and/or Obstruct a Public Officer
Possession of Schedule VI (Marijuana)
Possession of Marijuana Paraphernalia
Tilghman was also served with 9 outstanding orders for arrest and warrants for arrest on the following charges unrelated to Carolina Beach Police:
Felony Probation Violation (3 Counts)
Flee to Elude with a Motor Vehicle
Driving While License Revoked
Aggressive Driving
Break and Enter to Terrorize
Misd Crime of Domestic Violence
Battery on a Unborn Child
Larceny of a Motor Vehicle
