Police investigate officer-involved shooting at Charlotte mall


CHARLOTTE, NC (WSOC) — Emergency crews were responding to the Northlake Mall after an officer-involved shooting Thursday afternoon.

Officers and paramedics were called to the mall in north Charlotte just after 2 p.m. and Channel 9 viewers said they could hear shots being fired inside the mall.

Paramedics said they were treating one person with a leg injury and a woman who went into labor. It was unclear if any others were hurt.
