Police say 20-year-old hurt in Sunday shooting

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police are investigating after they say a 20-year-old was hit during a shooting Sunday evening.

Dispatchers say they got reports of gunfire in the area of 13th and Wright streets just before 6 p.m. Police say he was taken to the hospital in a private vehicle.

A Wilmington Police spokeswoman says the man’s injuries appear to be non-life-threatening.
