Police make three arrests after finding 100 pot plants

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Three people are behind bars after police found nearly 100 marijuana plants at a Wilmington home.

Wilmington Police searched the Copley Road home of Ben and Jennifer Stevens and found 11 pounds of marijuana yesterday. The Stevenses and Sandra Eschert face numerous drug charges including trafficking marijuana.

It’s the second time in six months police arrested Ben Stevens. They picked him up in July after seizing more than 300 pot plants from a home on Nun Street.
