Police say armed suspect robs local Subway

CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) — Carolina Beach police have released surveillance video and photos of an armed robbery at the Subway on North Lake Park Boulevard.

It happened last night around 8:30.

Police say a man pulled out a knife and demanded cash from the employees.

He’s described as a white male, about 5’7″ and 175 pounds.  He was wearing a black long sleeve jacket with a black and white patterned hood, tan pants and white shoes.  He got away with an unknown amount of cash.
