Police searching for shooter after man shot in ear

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police are looking for a suspect who they say shot a man in the ear.

Police say it happened in the 200 block of N. 11th St. Sunday at around 4:22 p.m. They say an unidentified 20-year-old man was hit in the right ear, and he was transported by a private car to the hospital.

There was no description given for the suspect.
