Police: Woman crashes into Kenan Fountain

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A woman is facing charges after police said she crashed into the Kenan Fountain in downtown Wilmington.

Wilmington Police said just after 1 a.m. Joanna Basbas, 26, crashed in the area of 5th and Market Streets. Basbas is charged with DWI.

Police said the fountain was not damaged.
