Police find 45 pounds of pot in couple’s van, home

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police confiscated more than 40 pounds of marijuana late Friday night. Officers arrested Marco Williams and his girlfriend Monet Jones.

Investigators say the two were driving a van full of marijuana when police stopped them. Officers found 36 pounds of marijuana in their van and nine more later at their house.

The two are facing a number of drug charges.
