Pop culture icons take center stage at new Wilmington art show

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — From superheroes and video game icons to cult-favorite TV and movie characters “Popping Off: A Pop Culture Art Show” is putting fan favorites in the Wilmington spotlight.

The exhibition opens at soda pop gallery at 11-20 princess street, with a reception and artist meet-and-greet Friday, September 26th from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. Admission is free.

The gallery is open Thursday through Sunday until October 19th, with at least one of the artists present during weekend hours to discuss and sell their work.
