Wilmington Post 10 secures east title for area 2; playoffs begin next week

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Post 10 shutout Hope Mills 1-0 on Wednesday securing the east title for area 2 in the process. Brandon Boone pitched a complete game shutout for Post 10. Brad Pennington scored the game winner on a passed ball in the 9th inning. Post 10 finishes the regular season with a 13-2 league record. They’re 16-2 overall. The playoffs start next week.
