Power outage impacting Pender County facilities in Burgaw

PENDER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Several Pender County facilities in Burgaw are experiencing a power outage, according to county officials.

Duke Energy has provided an estimated restoration time of around 1:30 p.m. According to a WWAY reporter at the scene, a vehicle hit a power line near the Piggly Wiggly.

The county is encouraging residents to plan accordingly, as services may take longer than usual during the outage.
