Pre-show party to celebrate 42nd North Carolina Holiday Flotilla

Wrightsville Beach, NC (WWAY) — A pre-show party was held for the North Carolina Holiday Flotilla event at Wrightsville Beach. The event was held at the Bluewater Waterfront Grill. More than 50 people attended the party including members of the event, boaters taking part in the flotilla, and people from around the area.

It will be the 42nd year of the event, and Bradley Alsip, one of the organizers for the event. Says anyone who’s going — is in for a treat.

“There are many boats that are ready to light up the town on the water. There is going to be so much in store like incredible fireworks”, said Alsip.

The boat parade begins at 6 in the afternoon, followed by fireworks. The following streets will have signs posted to remind motorist not to park on the pavement. Improperly parked vehicles will be ticketed — or towed.
