President Obama to extend paid leave to contractors

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama will sign an executive order today requiring paid sick leave for employees of federal contractors.

Right now, some 300,000 workers for federal contractors receive no paid sick leave.

Obama plans to address a major union rally and breakfast in Boston on Monday.
