Public safety website launched ahead of Wells Fargo Championship

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — New Hanover County has set up a website to keep people aware of community information and public safety for the Wells Fargo Championship.

The website includes travel and safety information, as well as community-specific details. An interactive map will be added to the website in the coming weeks that will show key locations such as parking lots, shuttle stops, road restrictions, and more.

New Hanover County, in partnership with Wells Fargo Championship Golf Tournament organizers, is working with federal, state, and city officials to ensure all spectators travel safely to and from the Championship throughout the tournament week. This website will provide timely public safety information leading up to, and during the tournament.
