Puppy love at Flytrap Brewing
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) –Flytrap Brewing was the place to be for animal lovers as many gathered to celebrate “Puppy Love” in partnership with Paws Place Rescue.
The event, which started at noon, welcomed both furry friends and their owners for a day filled with fun, all in support of a local rescue.
Paws Place Rescue, known for its efforts to find fosters and forever homes for animals in need, set up donation boxes at the event to gather essential items from their wish list.
One of the highlights was a pre-adoption pop-up and fundraiser, which ran from noon to 2 p.m. Attendees could also take part in mini photo sessions with Breanna Burge, owner and photographer of The Photo District. For $75, guests received three professionally edited photos, with 10% of the proceeds donated back to Paws Place.
Breanna Burge, spoke about the joy of seeing animals get the attention they deserve. “I heard a couple of applications went in, so that’s the best thing you can hear. Just continue to get their name out. The dogs here, it’s so sweet. This is the whole part of the business too—being able to show how much we love our pets, and what better way than Valentine’s Day,” she said.
