Raleigh man charged with secret peeping for the second time in four months

RALEIGH, NC (WTVD) — A Raleigh man arrested for secret peeping after an ABC11 story aired in May has been hit with the same charge again.

Andre Longmire, according to court documents, used his cell phone to take pictures up the dress of a girl at the Walmart on Wake Forest Road in Raleigh Tuesday.

In an arrest warrant, Raleigh police indicate that the victim, a juvenile female, may not even know she was a victim.

Police say they found the picture on the 30-year-old’s phone, but the person in the picture is unknown.

Back in May, Raleigh police asked for the public’s help in identifying a man caught by surveillance cameras at the Sears in Triangle Town Center mall taking pictures up the skirt of a woman who worked at the store.

As is apparently the case in the latest crime, the victim didn’t know she had been victimized.

Longmire, 30, was arrested the day after the surveillance picture was released after police say they got a tip identifying the man in the picture.

It’s not clear how police nabbed Longmire on the day of the latest crime, but he was arrested just steps away from the Walmart where it happened.

Longmire will face a judge on the latest charge Wednesday at the Wake County Justice Center in Raleigh.

It’s not clear if authorities will be able to identify the victim in the picture they found.
