Little Tikes recalls toddler swings; Moose Toys pulls frog toys

(WWAY) — Little Tikes is recalling 540,000 of its 2-in-1 Snug and Secure pink toddler swings. The swing’s seat can break, causing the child to fall.

Little Tikes says it’s received 140 reports of breaks, with 39 children hurt.

The swings were manufactured between 2009 and 2014, and were sold both online and in store. Parents who own the swing should contact Little Tikes for credit toward another product.

In more recall-related news, Moose Toys Ltd. is pulling its “Lil’ Frog” and “Lil Frog Lily Pad” toys due to a design defect which is says can cause battery leaks.

The company has received 17 reports of battery-related injuries.

The recall includes frogs and lily pads sold in pink, blue and green. Consumers can get more information at Moosetoys.com.
