WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Wilson Center at Cape Fear Community College and the Cucalorus Film Foundations announce that Reggie Watts will close out the 31st annual Cucalorus Film Festival with a live performance at at CFCC’s Wilson Center.

It will take place on Sunday, November 23rd, at 7:00 p.m.

In addition to his live performance, Watts’ voice will be featured in filmmaker Michael Langan’s short film Cosmic Cinnamon Roll, screening earlier in the Cucalorus Film Festival.

“Reggie really embodies so much of what makes Cucalorus special – that sense of not knowing what’s coming next, maybe being unsure of what exactly is happening, but always thought-provoking and inspiring in unexpected ways. I think Reggie is the perfect way to close out this year’s festival,” shared Cucalorus Film Festival Director, Dan Brawley.

“We’ve proudly supported Cucalorus as sponsors over the past few years, but having part of the festival in our space gives us all the feels,” said Wilson Center Executive Director, Zach Pluer. “We’re honored to be part of this cultural institution in Wilmington and feel like Reggie Watts is the perfect choice to unite our two organizations for an amazing night for our community.”
