Residents still seeking answers on Leland explosion
LELAND, NC (WWAY) — Residents in the Three Oaks community of Magnolia Greens in Leland are still searching for answers following an explosion that happened last month.
We reached out to the town for an update about the on-going investigation.
They had nothing new to share Tuesday, but they’re hopeful to have an update later this week.
Meanwhile, neighbors are still uneasy and one woman who lives across the street from where the incident occurred said inspectors were in her house this week.
No criminal activity was involved but multiple homes were damaged in the explosion on May 16th leaving four homes unsafe to live in.
