Could a restaurant replace the old gas station in Wrightsville Beach?

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A new restaurant could be coming to the old gas station site on Salisbury Street in Wrightsville Beach.

Town Manager Tim Owens says plans call for indoor and outdoor seating, onsite parking, nine boat slips for lease, and a floating dock.

The town planning board will discuss the proposal at its meeting next Tuesday.

If approved, there would be a conditional use permit hearing at the Board of Aldermen meeting March 12.

This proposal would also require the proper permit from CAMA.
