Restoration work on Old Baldy Lighthouse complete

BALD HEAD ISLAND, NC (WWAY) — Restoration of the Old Baldy Lighthouse is now complete. The two-hundred-year-old lighthouse is well known for its patchy, aged appearance; but with that historical appearance comes a lot of upkeep.  

Crews finished restoration on the walls of the lighthouse on Thursday. 

The spruce-up was funded by a grant for historical places following Hurricane Florence.
