Reward increased in child shooting investigation
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Investigators with the Wilmington Police Department have upped the reward for information leading to an arrest in the shooting of a 9-year-old.
The drive-by shooting happened overnight on August 24 in the 1500-block of Railroad Street. The girl was shot in her left hand. A baby and several adults were in the home.
The reward is now at $15,000. Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at (800) 531-8945 or Text-A-Tip by texting “CRIMES” and starting the text with “Tip708.”
