Robbery victim calls 911, follows suspect

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) —  A robbery victim helped lead police to the suspect, according to New Hanover County 911.

A dispatch operator  says they received a report of a robbery at the Food Lion in the 1900 block of Oleander Drive.  While on the call with 911, the victim followed and gave updates.

Dispatch says police caught up with the suspect at the Wendy’s at College Road and New Centre Drive.
