Rocky Point homicide victim identified, 911 call released

ROCKY POINT, NC (WWAY) — A man killed in Rocky Point last week has been identified by the Pender County Sheriff’s Office.

On February 19 at 2:26 p.m., the 911 center received a call about a fire in the 100 block of Woodhaven Drive. The caller also said a man at the home was unresponsive.

On Monday, the sheriff’s office identified the victim as 70-year-old Kenneth Dale Tatum. His death is being investigated as a homicide.
