Rouzer to host town hall meeting in Wilmington
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Voters in our area will have a chance to talk directly to the man who represents them in Congress next week.
Rep. David Rouzer will hold a pair of town hall meetings in the 7th District, including one in Wilmington. His office says the meetings are a venue for citizens to share their opinions and concerns while also serving to update Southeastern North Carolinians on Rouzer’s work in Washington.
“Hearing directly from the citizens of the district is critical to representing Southeastern North Carolina to the best of my ability,” Rouzer said in a news release. “These town halls are an opportunity for constituents to ask questions, share their legislative ideas and discuss ways in which we can make this country a better place for hard-working taxpayers, their families and future generations.”
Rouzer will meet with constituents Monday at 7 p.m. at Roland-Grise Middle School at 4412 Lake Ave. in Wilmington. Tuesday he will hold another meeting at 7 p.m. at Johnston Community College in Smithfield.
Constituents can register for the townhalls by emailing nc07.events@mail.house.gov.
Rouzer, a Republican, is in his first term in the US House.
