Santa’s House still set to be completed by Christmas

CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) — We have an update to a story you’ve been following right here on WWAY.

Santa’s House at Carolina Beach looks much different than it did two weeks ago when it was just the foundation.

There are now walls and a roof were a dirt lot once was.

In addition to the external structure, electricity, plumbing and air conditioning have also been installed.

Builders say the siding will go up around Thanksgiving.

As you recall, the community is coming together to build a house for Harry Buie, AKA Santa, for free.

The project is still on pace to finish by Christmas.
