Saturday last chance to get discounted Freeman Park passes for 2024

CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) — Those in the Cape Fear area looking to get discounted annual passes for Freeman Park will need to purchase them in person by 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Purchasing a pass allows you to drive a 4×4 vehicle onto the popular beach area for the 2024 season.

According to the Town of Carolina Beach, passes cost $110 if purchased by 12/31. However the offices that sell the passes will be closed on Sunday.

They can be purchased at either the Town Hall Billing Office, or the Town Parking Office. Town Hall will be open from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Parking Office will be open from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Starting on Monday, the price for annual passes will go up to $225.
