SC, national gas prices trend lower as summer begins

CHARLESTON, SC (WCIV) — Gas prices in South Carolina have continued to slip as summer officially begins.

On Monday, GasBuddy reported that the national average in the Palmetto State dropped 2.3¢ per gallon over the past week, settling at an average of $2.75 per gallon.

Meanwhile, the national average also dropped, falling by 2.1¢ per gallon. The national average now sits at $3.05 per gallon.
