SC shatters daily record with nearly 3,200 COVID-19 cases
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WSOC) — South Carolina has again shattered its daily record for newly reported COVID-19 cases.
Health officials confirmed a record-setting 2,470 new cases one week ago.
On Friday, they said the state had confirmed another 3,137 cases.
The state has recorded more than 220,000 cases and 4,000 deaths since the start of the outbreak. The rising numbers come as the state lays out its coronavirus vaccination plan.
