Season begins this weekend for Wilmington Sea Dawgs

WILMINGTON, NC (SEA DAWGS RELEASE) — With the Sea Dawgs season right around the corner, the Dawgs are looking to revitalize the franchise and bring the excitement and energy back to the Wilmington area. Coming off a very successful season in which they made it to the conference semi-finals, they now look to go even further into the postseason. By bringing back the core group and making some key acquisitions such as Chris Telman, Jay Frank, and Luqman Tijani, that should catapult the Sea Dawgs into immediate contenders. The league also partnered with The Premiere Basketball League (PBL) and ESPN this year and that will create great opportunities for both TRBL and PBL players.

The Sea Dawgs will open up on the road on Sunday at 5:00 p.m. in Concord NC as they take on the Durham Bull City Legacy who made it to the conference finals laast season. ESPN3 will broadcast the game. It can be viewed by logging into espn.go.com/watchespn.

Home games this season will be held at the Wilmington Basketball Center in Ogden. The home opener for the Sea Dawgs will be November 29 at 3 p.m. against Charlotte Elite.
