Seasonal beers that will make you happy it’s fall

CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) — The crisp, cool days of fall call for brews to warm us up.  Whether you’re around a campfire or pre-gaming, these beers bring autumn to life.

Good Morning Carolina’s Randy Aldridge and Ashley Sturm traveled to Island Beverage in Carolina Beach to learn about three beers to put you in the mood for season.

Hackershore’s Octoberfest is a medium lager with some spice characteristics.  It is a German brew that’s perfect for someone who like’s a lighter beer .

Weyerbacher Imperial Pumpkin Ale is for all the pumpkin spice lovers.  This Pennsylvania brewed ale has cinnamon, nutmeg and pumpkin flavors so it’s perfect to warm you by a fire.

Evil Twin’s No Hero is an oatmeal stout that is heavier, dark and malty.  It is the perfect choice for when the days start to turn really cold.

Island Beverage’s owner Bryan Parker says these brews are available at most specialty shops and some supermarkets.
